If you selected the With Transportation option, the adventure begins with pickup at your hotel or confirmed meeting point. You will travel by safari truck or bus to the Anamuya Mountains while leaving behind the tourist area of Punta Cana and discovering the interior landscape of the Dominican Republic. The exact time will depend on your accommodation and the assigned route.

Typical Dominican house and plantation
Begin the cultural experience by visiting a typical Dominican countryside house. You will learn about rural life customs up close and discover how organic products traditionally used by local families are grown. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to learn about and sample local products such as roasted coffee and cocoa.

Botanical garden
Continue to the botanical garden of Monkeyland to discover a variety of tropical plants, flowers, and vegetation native to the Dominican Republic. The guide will share information about the species present while you enjoy the natural environment and mountain views.

Welcome and safety briefing at Monkeyland
Before entering the habitat, you will receive the necessary instructions to interact properly with the monkeys. The staff will explain the safety and animal welfare rules that must be respected throughout the entire experience. Remember that you must not wear sunscreen or insect repellent before entering, and loose or shiny objects must be kept secured.

Interaction with squirrel monkeys
The most anticipated moment of the tour arrives. For approximately 45 minutes, you will enter a natural habitat of about five acres accompanied by a guide, where squirrel monkeys roam freely. These curious animals are accustomed to visitors and may approach you, sit on your shoulders, or jump near you. During the experience, you will receive fruit provided by the staff so the monkeys can approach and eat under supervision. Enjoy the moment peacefully, follow the caretakers' instructions, and let the animals themselves decide to approach.

Monkeyland gift shop
At the end of the interaction, you will have the opportunity to visit the Monkeyland shop, where you can find photographs, souvenirs, and products available for purchase.
