What is the difference between the City Tour VIP and a traditional City Tour?

Our City Tour VIP is conducted in small groups of up to 24 passengers and offers a more complete experience. It includes the raft crossing to the last lake of Los Tres Ojos, entrance to the interior of the Faro a Colón, buffet lunch, 4K cinema, entrance and guided tour of the Catedral Primada de América, and a ride on the Chu Chu Colonial.

Yes. The raft crossing to reach the last lake, an impressive open-air natural formation, is included.

Is there a lot of walking during the excursion?

There is walking at some of the attractions, especially at Los Tres Ojos and the Ciudad Colonial. However, the Chu Chu Colonial ride allows you to see much of the historic center in greater comfort, reducing long walks in the sun.

What does the 4D cinema experience include?

You will enjoy two short documentary films in 4D cinema , with special effects that make the history more immersive. One presents the Taíno culture and our origins, and the other recreates the historical invasion of Santo Domingo by the privateer Francis Drake.

Yes. The experience includes entrance and a guided tour of the Catedral Primada de América.

We begin the experience with pickup at the hotel or previously confirmed meeting point. Our team coordinates the schedule according to the location of each passenger to start the journey to Santo Domingo.

Trip to Santo Domingo
Departure for the Dominican capital aboard air-conditioned transportation. During the journey you will be able to relax as we head towards our first visit of the day.

Los Tres Ojos National Park
We begin our visits at one of the most impressive natural sites in Santo Domingo. We will tour its caves and lakes and cross by raft to the last lake, a beautiful open-air natural formation.

Columbus Lighthouse – Interior visit
We continue towards the Columbus Lighthouse. Unlike many tours that only make an outside stop, on our VIP City Tour we enter the monument to see its rooms, exhibitions, and historical pieces.

We will make a stop in front of the National Palace, one of the most representative buildings in the Dominican Republic, with time for photos.
